The calculation of the UR-77 self-propelled rocket launcher of the Center group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area. This was announced on March 28 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that during aerial reconnaissance, the operator of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) discovered an enemy stronghold. Then, after receiving the coordinates of the target, the mine clearance machine crew quickly approached the firing range and fired one charge at the enemy's positions, which, causing a remote detonation of the ammunition depot, ensured the unhindered capture of the enemy's stronghold by our attack aircraft.

"Ur-77, popularly known as "Snake-Gorynych", is designed to make passages in minefields using an explosive method. They worked on the enemy's stronghold, that is, they did not clear the minefield, but specifically threw it at the enemy's stronghold," said Senior Sergeant Alexander Boltunov, deputy platoon commander, Guards.

On March 27, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the calculation of the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system of the Center group of forces destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Red Army direction with thermobaric rockets. It was noted that the servicemen managed to detect him thanks to a reconnaissance drone.
