- Polyansky announced the possibility of the Russian Federation to facilitate the supply of agricultural products to the markets

The Russian Federation believes that there is now an opportunity to implement the UN memorandum on the supply of Russian agricultural products to world markets in connection with the agreements reached with the United States. Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, told reporters on March 27.
"Now, we believe, there is a window of opportunity to implement this part of the deal, and subsequently it will lead us to the moment when we will be able to implement the grain deal in its entirety," he said.
According to Polyansky, a relevant document was signed as part of the grain deal between the United Nations and the Russian Federation, but it could not be implemented properly due to the position of Western countries.
In addition, the diplomat noted that Russia is ready to work with any US permanent representative who assumes this position.
Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said on March 25 that the resumption of the Black Sea initiative would open up new opportunities for Russia. He also noted that the joint work of the countries within the framework of the initiative will help provide grain to more than 100 million people around the world.
