Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 recorded in central Kazakhstan

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred in central Kazakhstan. This was confirmed on March 27 by data from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
According to him, the seismic event was registered 19 km southwest of the village of Merke, where just under 16 thousand people live. The source was located at a depth of 10 km.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 was recorded in Chile on March 25. It was clarified that the tremor occurred 97 km east of the city of Alto Ospisio, which is home to 105 thousand people.
