A nutritionist has dispelled a popular myth about aging-slowing foods

Nutritionist and nutritionist Roman Pristansky said that there are no products that can slow down aging.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Thursday, March 27, he explained that there are also no products that make you lose weight, live forever, see in the dark, and so on.
"This doesn't happen. Blueberries are for eyes, cabbage is for breasts, carrots are for growth — the same story," said the nutritionist.
According to him, any product contains useful minerals if consumed for pleasure and in reasonable proportions.
The more varied the diet, the more different meals, the better. You should not eat the same thing, different foods contain different "amino acids, vitamins and a complete set of everything — this is what we need for a high—quality life," concluded Pristansky.
On March 11, nutritionist and nutritionist Evgeny Arzamastsev told Moskva 24 that vegetables, fruits, fatty fish, nuts and olive oil can help prevent dementia. According to him, to reduce the risk of developing the disease, it is necessary to consume foods that positively affect brain function.
In June, Elvira Fesenko, PhD, explained why obesity can have an effect on the brain. According to her, in particular, inflammatory processes in the body that occur due to obesity can affect brain structures such as the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, brainstem and amygdala.
