The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of the Russian Armed Forces soldiers in the special operation zone

On March 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense told about the exploits of Russian fighters in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

According to the department, Corporal Vladislav Klyuev, having taken up defense near the line of combat contact, he and his group conducted visual surveillance of the airspace. When an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was detected correcting artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the corporal reported it to the commander and destroyed the enemy drone with targeted small arms fire.

After that, he changed the group's aerial observation point. Some time later, an artillery strike was launched by Ukrainian militants at the group's original location. The Defense Ministry noted that the actions of Corporal Klyuev deprived the enemy of the opportunity to conduct reconnaissance and adjust artillery fire. This made it possible to avoid casualties during the shelling and continue to hold the defense at a given line.

Also in the special operation zone, Sergeant Major Sergey Vikulov, as part of the logistics brigade, performed tasks to deliver personnel, ammunition and food to the areas of the Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces).

It is reported that the Russian attack aircraft needed reinforcements and additional ammunition to secure their new positions. Then Vikulov volunteered to deliver a group of reinforcements and ammunition.

During the movement to the front line, a vehicle with personnel and ammunition, the enemy attempted to destroy with artillery and mortar fire the foreman's car, which was detected with the help of a UAV. However, Vikulov, skillfully maneuvering a truck in a difficult area, brought it out from under enemy attack and promptly delivered a group of reinforcements and ammunition to the front lines.

The day before, the Ministry of Defense reported that a calculation of FPV drones of the 42nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed a fortified dugout of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region. The dugout was discovered during aerial reconnaissance. A direct hit led to its destruction, as well as to the elimination of the Ukrainian army's manpower inside.
