In Yekaterinburg, a car drove into a crowd after colliding with another car, injuring five people, including two children. This was announced on March 27 by the State traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk region.

According to preliminary data, the driver of the car made an unauthorized U-turn maneuver and interfered with the vehicle in oncoming traffic.

"As a result of the accident, four pedestrians and the driver of Chery were examined by medics on the spot. The driver refused to be hospitalized, the rest of the victims, including two children, were taken to hospitals for additional examination and necessary treatment," the department's Telegram channel says.

An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is currently underway. The department also recalled the importance of observing traffic rules.

On March 27, two cars collided in Novosibirsk, resulting in the death of two people. According to preliminary data, the accident was caused by a 19-year-old BMW driver. At the intersection with Gogol Street, he drove into the intersection under a forbidding traffic light, thus allowing a collision with a Hyundai car. Two Hyundai passengers died at the scene of the accident. Three more people suffered injuries of varying severity.
