A criminal case has been opened in the UK in connection with the crash of a bathyscaphe with Russians in Egypt.

Employees of the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have opened a criminal case in connection with the crash of a bathyscaphe in the Red Sea in Egypt. This was announced on March 27 by the department.

"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of water transport, resulting in the death of more than two persons by negligence," the report says.
