The first flight of the fully import-substituted Superjet aircraft is scheduled for April. Anton Alikhanov, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, told reporters on March 27.

"The Superjet has already flown with a Russian engine recently, you've seen for sure. It is planned to be fully import—substituted with all domestic systems in April," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier on March 27, Mikhail Danilenko, Managing Director of the Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military industrial holding, announced the successful testing of import-substituting components for D100 engines for nuclear power.
