The volume of freight traffic along the Northern Sea Route will increase to 70-100 million tons by 2023. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 27 at the plenary session of the International Arctic Forum.
The Head of State pointed out that cargo traffic along the Northern Sea Route has grown to 38 million tons in 10 years.
