- Hutsul stated about the prosecutor's office's request for her arrest without legal grounds.

The head of Gagauzia, Evgenia Gutsul, said that prosecutors had prepared a new judicial arrest request against her without legal or factual reasons. The corresponding appeal was published on March 27 in the Hutsul Telegram channel.
The head of Gagauzia clarified that in the new case of allegedly falsified financial documents, the prosecutor's office does not have a single proof of her guilt, and not a single witness pointed out her involvement in these papers. It is specified that on the eve of March 26, prosecutors had no charges in this case.
"They are being detained in one case, where there is no evidence, and they want to arrest in another case, where there are no grounds for arrest," says the message, which Hutsul transmitted through a lawyer.
She noted that these illegal actions and abuses will be appealed in all instances, including international ones. In her address, the head of Gagauzia thanked all those who took part in rallies in her support.

The Pobeda block reported that the head of Gagauzia was supposed to fly to Istanbul, where she was scheduled to meet. According to the Moldovan Prosecutor General's Office, the politician was detained after her name was found on the list of persons prohibited from leaving the country.

The department reported that in the near future Hutsul will be formally charged in the case of violation of the procedure for managing election funds, illegal financing of election competitors and forgery of documents, prosecutors will ask the court to place her under preliminary arrest.
Then, on March 27, a rally in support of the Hutsuls was held in Moscow at the Moldovan Embassy on Kuznetsky Bridge. The protesters held posters with photos of the politician and banners with the words "Gagauzia was arrested, democracy was abolished", "Freedom for political prisoners of Moldova" and "Prisoners of Conscience".
