Five people were injured in an attack by a man with a knife in Amsterdam

In the center of Amsterdam, a man with a knife attacked passersby, at least five people were injured. This was announced on Thursday, March 27, by the city police on the social network page X (ex. Twitter).
"As a result of the stabbing incident on Sint Nikolaasstraat, five people were injured," the report says.
Police, ambulance crews and a rescue helicopter arrived at the scene. A suspect in the attack has been detained, law enforcement officials said.
Earlier, on March 15, it was reported that in the French city of Poissy, a woman and her two sons, one of whom was armed with a knife, entered the territory of the lyceum Le Corbusier to "settle a dispute" with one of the students. The police detained the mother and one of the brothers, the second managed to escape.
