The French prosecutor's office has requested 18 months of probation for Depardieu.

The French prosecutor's office has requested an 18-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 20,000 euros for actor Gerard Depardieu, who is accused of molesting two colleagues on the set. This was announced on March 27 by BFMTV.
"The prosecutor also demanded an obligation to undergo psychological treatment and to include the actor in the register of sex offenders," the article says.
On March 27, the fourth and last day of the trial hearings ended.
Earlier, on March 26, Depardieu tried to justify himself at a court hearing on sexual harassment, admitting that he had once grabbed a colleague by the hips. On the same day, the artist's agent Arnaud Frillet said in an interview with Izvestia that Depardieu was not going to admit guilt in the harassment case. According to Frille, the artist considers the current practice of accusing cultural figures of making false statements to be a "pathetic and sad spectacle."
The beginning of the harassment trial became known in October 2024. He is accused of sexual assault by two participants in the filming of the film "Green Shutters" in 2021.
