Russia needs to come up with concrete solutions for the development of the Arctic region. This was announced on March 27 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and the Arctic transport corridor.

According to him, the state faces large-scale and systemic tasks for the development of the region. He stressed that everything must be done for a comfortable and attractive life in the Arctic.

The Head of State also drew the Government's attention to the fact that the necessary decisions on the development of sea routes have not yet been taken. He stressed that the implementation of projects that are important for the development of the Arctic region and Russia as a whole should not be postponed.
