The dates of the MIMS-2025 auto exhibition have become known


The international exhibition MIMS-2025 will be held in Moscow at the Expocentre Fairgrounds on May 12-15. Oksana Anikeeva, CEO of the ITEMF Expo organizing company, said this at a press conference, the Izvestia correspondent reports. She clarified that this year the traditional dates of this exhibition have been postponed to an earlier period.
"This exhibition was traditionally held at the end of August. This year, for a number of reasons, it was decided to postpone it to the middle of May," she said.
According to Anikeeva, more than 1.6 thousand participants from 20 countries will take part in the exhibition: one third more than last year. It is expected that over 58 thousand visitors will take part in MIMS-2025 in four days.
This year, the MIMS International Automobile Exhibition will be held for the 29th time. It will feature Russian and foreign manufacturers of spare parts, automotive components, equipment and tools for car repair and maintenance.
On March 24, it was reported that difficulties with the supply of Western auto parts due to sanctions and payment problems pushed businesses to increase investments in the construction and modernization of automotive component production facilities in Russia. Last year, the number of investment projects in this area increased by 71.4% compared to 2023.
On March 19, it became known that average prices for car spare parts have increased by 1.2% since December last year. Among foreign cars, spare parts for Porsche (+5.8%), Skoda (+5.7%), Peugeot (+5.3%), Volkswagen (+5.1%), Toyota (+4%), Hyundai (+2.9%), Renault (2.7%) and Audi (+2.2%).
