The expert gave advice on successful preparation for the Unified State Exam

There are only a few months left before the exam: the closer the exam date is, the more excited graduates and parents are. Anastasia Yekushevskaya, academic director of the Skysmart online school, told Izvestia on March 28 how to effectively use the remaining time to prepare for the Unified State Exam and minimize stress.
"A few months to prepare for the exam is not as short as it might seem. This is definitely enough to recall and structure previously acquired knowledge. But in order to prepare from scratch, you still need to invest a little more time, because the exam program is designed to test knowledge starting from the 5th grade," she said.
According to her, if a student decides to prepare in a short period of two to three months, it is better for him to focus on one subject in order to achieve a good result.
In order to get everything done accurately, the expert advised making a schedule: distribute the workload on each topic for the weeks remaining before the exam.
"Find out in advance when you will need to take the EXAM according to the schedule — for example, this year the main exam period begins on May 23 and the dates for the subjects are already known. Then decide how you want to prepare: on your own, with a tutor, or both. Make a schedule for the days of the week, taking into account all the main and additional classes in each subject," Yekushevskaya added.
When planning independent work, you should divide large topics into smaller abstracts and write several small tasks for each of them. These tasks will need to be distributed by day of the week.
"And don't forget to mark your rest hours! Practicing for a long time without a break is harmful — it will only tire you out. You should also have a day off at least once a week," the expert emphasized.
She recommended using diagnostics (for example, trial tests) to identify weaknesses and work on them point-by-point. You should practice daily: solve one or two variants of the Unified State Exam per week, analyzing mistakes with the teacher. It is worth using simulators: they help to consolidate the material and get used to the exam format. In addition, it will be useful to keep an eye on the experts. For example, you can subscribe on social networks to teachers who explain complex topics in an accessible way and share life hacks.
"Practice is the key to successful completion! Solve a lot of tasks: in order to properly work out the exam tasks, their solution must be brought to automatism. Trial versions of the Unified State Exam, step—by-step guides, and similar tasks from collections, such as the open task bank on the FIPI website, will help you do this. Solve them regularly, be sure to consolidate in practice the topic that you have just studied in theory. And deal with the difficulties right away, if they arise," Yekushevskaya advised.
In her opinion, special attention should be paid to timing in order to learn how to meet the allotted time. At the same time, in order to better assimilate the material, you need to repeat it at regular intervals. She recommended returning to him every three days.
"To make the preparation for the Unified State Exam easier, please yourself periodically. For example, for writing another test for a higher score. This will take some of the emotional stress off you and make it clear that you have taken another successful step towards high scores," she stressed.
The expert also advised alternating study and rest: 45 minutes of classes, 15 minutes of break. In addition, it is worth using ready-made notes to save time on theory.
However, do not forget about sleep and nutrition: the brain learns information during rest. In addition, you need to connect support: experienced teachers will help you distribute the load and give you motivation.
"It's important: don't sacrifice your mental health for the sake of studying. Find time for hobbies and recreation to avoid emotional burnout," Yekushevskaya concluded.
Earlier, on December 29, 2024, it was reported that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation had set minimum USE scores for the 2025/26 academic year. The minimum score for the exam in mathematics will be 39, and in Russian — 42, in physics — 39, in a foreign language — 30, in literature — 40, in biology — 39, in geography — 40, in chemistry — 39, in social studies — 45, in history — 35, in computer science - 44.
