Yemeni Houthis from the Shiite Ansar Allah movement launched a rocket attack on Ben Gurion airport in Israel. This was announced on March 27 by their representative Yahya Saria.
"We launched a ballistic missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Jaffa (the name the Houthis use to designate the Tel Aviv area. — Ed.)," Al Jazeera quotes him in the Telegram channel.
Saria also reported a strike on a military facility in the Jaffa area using a hypersonic missile. In addition, the movement attacked the US aircraft carrier group Harry Truman in the Red Sea.
The Houthi representative added that Ansar Allah would continue to obstruct Israel's navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas.
The day before, Al Masirah TV channel reported on a Houthi missile attack on American warships and the aircraft carrier Harry Truman in the Red Sea. It was clarified that the ships were attacked by missile forces, air forces and naval forces of the Houthis.
On March 25, Al Masirah reported a missile attack by the Yemeni Houthis on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and a US aircraft carrier. It was noted that the strike was carried out by two ballistic missiles (Zulfikar and Palestine-2).
