Caring for the participants of the special operation, their families, and residents of the border and new regions of the Russian Federation has been and will remain one of the government's absolute priorities. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized this on Thursday, March 27.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister also drew attention to the results of the annual report to the State Duma on March 26.

"Special attention was paid to measures to support the participants of the special military operation and their families. Of course, taking care of them has been and will remain among the absolute priorities of the government, as well as the residents of our border and new regions, who today have to cope with difficulties," he stressed.

The day before, Mishustin, during the presentation of the annual report on the work of the executive branch in the State Duma, said that Russia had ensured the priority right of participants in a special military operation (SVO) to medical care and education, as well as the automatic assignment of additional payments for them.

The Prime Minister noted that caring for the participants of the SVR and their families is the duty of the federal authorities, which they perform jointly with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
