It is necessary to be selective about the return of foreign brands to the Russian market. Mikhail Delyagin, deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, expressed this opinion on Thursday, March 27.

He called the principle voiced by the state absolutely correct, according to which situations with the return of foreign brands should be considered individually and strictly depending on Russian interests.

"That is, if there is a company that we need and which we have not bothered to replace so far or will not replace exactly, then let it come. <...> And let the mass market belong to Russian companies," the parliamentarian said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

Earlier in the day, the manufacturer of household appliances Ariston announced its intention to return to the Russian market, writes "Moscow 24".

The company clarified that on March 26, 2025, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Ariston Holding was restored to ownership and full management of shares in its Russian subsidiary, Ariston Thermo Rus LLC, RT reports.

In April 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin transferred 100% of the shares of the subsidiaries of Ariston and BSH Hausgerate operating in Russia to Gazprom Household Systems.
