Avito and the government of the Murmansk Region plan to hold joint events to attract tourists to the region. This is stipulated in the cooperation agreement that the parties signed at the International Arctic Forum "The Arctic – the Territory of Dialogue" (IAF).

The joint work will also be aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, introducing advanced solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and organizing training programs for entrepreneurs.

"Avito's services have already become a full-fledged tool for tourists who can find accommodation, excursions and cars, as well as for people who want to start their own business. In 2024, the number of active ads on Avito in the Murmansk Region reached 3.4 million, an increase of 24% compared to 2023. We are confident that our cooperation will open up new horizons for the development of tourism and small and medium—sized businesses in the region," said Vlad Fedulov, Managing Director of the company.

Oksana Demchenko, First Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region, expressed hope that the partnership with Avito would be an important step in the development of the region's economy. "One of the agreements is to create occasions that will help attract tourists and show residents of the whole of Russia the beauty of the Far North. To do this, we have already organized a joint ice sculpture show in honor of the Holiday of the North," Demchenko said.

According to Avito, tourists' interest in the Arctic, including Murmansk, is growing. Thus, the number of daily bookings in the Murmansk region increased 3.1 times last year compared to 2023.

According to the company, work on the agreement has already started. Within the framework of the International Arctic Forum and the 51st Murmansk Ski Marathon, Avito Travels helped more than 4,000 participants and guests find suitable accommodation.
