The State Duma appreciated the return of Ariston to Russia

The return of foreign companies is a pattern that was predicted back in 2022. This was stated by State Duma Deputy Sergei Kolunov on Thursday, March 27, commenting on the possible imminent resumption of work by the Italian company Ariston in Russia.
"It is hardly possible to say that the return of companies is justified by some moral motives. In my opinion, there is one reason here, and it is extremely simple — money, the desire to continue earning in Russia. Our population has a high purchasing power, and the Russian market is really attractive. So the Europeans are coming back," the parliamentarian said in an interview with RT.
Kolunov recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin had recently stressed that not all foreign companies would be able to return to the country.
"Over the past years, we have proved that, firstly, we can produce everything ourselves, and secondly, that we have other friends and partners whose business is rapidly developing in Russia. There is no shortage, there has not been and will not be," he concluded.
Earlier in the day, household appliance manufacturer Ariston announced its intention to return to the Russian market. 360.ru .
The company clarified that on March 26, 2025, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Ariston Holding was restored to ownership and full management of shares of its Russian subsidiary, Ariston Thermo Rus LLC.
