The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra will perform in Russia in early April


The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra will perform in Russia as part of the closing ceremony of the "cross-cultural" Year of Cultural Exchanges and Tourism between Russia and Thailand in early April.
The concerts will be held on April 2 in St. Petersburg and on April 4 in Moscow and will introduce listeners to the heritage of Thai classical music, as well as serve as a symbol of strengthening mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries. The program of the Russian tour includes an exquisite selection of compositions celebrating Thailand and the genius of Royal Composers, demonstrating the beauty of Thai melodies within the framework of classical music. Maestro Vanit Potavanit is at the conductor's desk.
So, in St. Petersburg, the concert will take place on the stage of the Great Hall of the D. D. Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic. Russian musicians, laureates of international competitions, pianist Dmitry Masleev and violinist Hayk Kazazyan will perform with the orchestra. In the capital, the orchestra will perform on the stage of the Zaryadye Concert Hall.
The events organized by ROSCONCERT are supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, as well as the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
