The Italian manufacturer of household appliances Ariston has announced its return to Russia

The Italian manufacturer of household appliances Ariston decided to return to the Russian market. This is stated in the company's statement.

"The Ariston Group, a global leader in solutions for sustainable thermal comfort, announces that on March 26, 2025, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation [Vladimir Putin] No. 176, Ariston Holding NV was restored to ownership and full management of shares in its Russian subsidiary, Ariston Thermo Rus LLC," the document says.

Paolo Merloni, the company's executive chairman, said that they plan to resume cooperation with the Russian leadership, strictly observing all applicable restrictions. In this regard, Ariston will reconsider its decision to deconsolidate Ariston Thermo Rus, made on August 1, 2024.

In April 2024, Putin transferred 100% of the shares of the subsidiaries of Ariston and BSH Hausgerate operating in Russia to Gazprom Household Systems. However, on March 26 of this year, the Russian leader reversed the relevant decision.
