Ex-head of REO Butsaev appointed Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology


Denis Butsaev, the former head of the Russian Environmental Operator (REO), was appointed Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology. The relevant document was published on March 27 on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.
It is specified that the order on appointment was signed by the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin.
"Denis Butsaev, who previously served as CEO of the Russian Environmental Operator, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology," the publication says.
In addition, Irina Tarasova was appointed the new CEO of the Russian Environmental Operator, a publicly-owned company for the formation of an integrated solid municipal waste management system. Previously, she served as Director of the Administrative Department of the Ministry of Agriculture.
On January 29, Yulia Dyakova was appointed the new director of the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center. In 2017, she served as Deputy Head and then Head of the Kurchatov Complex of NBICS-Nature-like Technologies at the Kurchatov Institute Research and Development Center.
