Russian driver's licenses can be recognized as valid for driving vehicles in China. This was announced on March 27 by Dmitry Zverev, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, at a plenary meeting in the Federation Council.

According to him, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are discussing the recognition of driver's licenses with China.

"Together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we are discussing with our Chinese colleagues the recognition of driver's licenses for individual trips by citizens in passenger cars," Zverev said.

Currently, Russian driver's licenses are valid in countries that have signed and ratified the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic. In countries that have signed only the Geneva Convention on Road Traffic, you will need an international driver's license.

There are no rights other than local ones on the territory of the PRC, neither Russian nor international.

The day before, it was reported that the State Duma rejected a bill that would provide the regions of the Russian Federation with the opportunity to introduce a discount on a fine for non-payment of parking. The bill was submitted to the State Duma in July last year. They proposed to amend the Administrative Code and give the regions the right to introduce a 50% discount on the prompt payment of a fine (within 20 days after the issuance) for violating the rules for using paid parking.
