Pushilin appointed Andrey Chertkov as acting head of the government of the DPR

On March 27, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin appointed First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Chertkov to the post of acting head of the republican cabinet.
"I am appointing Andrei Chertkov, who has proven himself well in the position of first deputy, as acting chairman of the government of the DPR. <...> He will continue our common work on the revival of Donbass in the team," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Pushilin described Chertkov as a strong businessman and professional. According to the head of the DPR, the new chairman of the government is open to the residents of the republic and demanding of his subordinates.
In addition, Pushilin also commented on the appointment of Chertkov's predecessor Evgeny Solntsev to the post of acting governor of the Orenburg region. The head of the DPR noted the talent of the former head of government and his dedication, and also expressed hope for cooperation between the republic and Orenburg.
"The decision of the President [of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin] is very important and significant! Donbass plays a role in the life of Russia and as a region where professional and human qualities are very quickly manifested in the face of constant challenges," Pushilin said.
A day earlier, Putin issued a decree appointing Denis Pasler, Governor of the Orenburg Region, to the post of acting head of the Sverdlovsk Region. It is specified that the appointment took place in connection with the early resignation of the previous head of the region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, at his own request. Solntsev, in turn, became the interim governor of the Orenburg Region.
