The Ministry of Construction has changed the requirements for water supply networks

The Ministry of Construction approved amendments to the set of rules for the design of outdoor networks and water supply facilities, the ministry's press service reported on March 27.
"The updated set of rules takes into account the results of applied scientific research and tasks related to the digitalization of housing and communal services systems. Amendment No. 1 stipulates that in order to digitalize the urban sector during the operation of water supply facilities, it is necessary to create information databases where data on the current technical condition of utility networks will be stored," the press service of the Ministry of Construction quotes Deputy Minister Sergei Muzychenko.
Among the three applied scientific studies, the results of which formed the basis for updating the set of rules, the concept of decentralization of water supply to residents of the Russian Federation became particularly significant for the industry. Within the framework of this concept, water in cities, towns or individual houses should come from an individual source.
"In order to optimize technical solutions for the development of water supply system projects, the set of rules sets out requirements for the design of local water treatment systems. The updated document will provide incentives for the use of high—tech and innovative products to save energy resources in water treatment and transportation, optimize technical solutions in the development of water supply system projects, as well as reduce project implementation time," said Andrey Kopytin, Director of FAA FCSF.
The day before, the annual report of the Government of the Russian Federation was held in the State Duma, where Mikhail Mishustin paid special attention to the implementation of measures to modernize the municipal infrastructure. By 2030, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 309, the number of constructed and reconstructed water supply and water treatment facilities is expected to reach 2,000 units.
Earlier, on March 18, the Ministry of Construction approved a basic set of rules in construction. Thus, an integrated structure of standardization documents in the construction complex has been formed, which simultaneously takes into account all related rationing systems.
