Channel One cameraman Dmitry Volkov, who was injured in the Belgorod border region, was taken to the Sklifosovsky Research Institute in Moscow. This was announced on March 27 by the Telegram channel "Moscow Medicine".
Emergency services took the patient to the helipad of the medical facility, from where he was immediately sent to the intensive care unit for treatment.
"Skliff's team immediately began providing medical assistance," the statement said.
On March 26, it was reported that Anna Prokofieva, a military correspondent for Channel One, was killed while working in the Belgorod region, and cameraman Dmitry Volkov was also injured. It is specified that the car with the channel's film crew was blown up by a Ukrainian mine.
The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on the terrorist attack. At the moment, the circumstances of the incident are being established to determine the persons involved in the crime, the department added.
