An avalanche danger has been declared in Kamchatka until March 31.

An avalanche danger warning has been issued in the Kamchatka Territory due to possible snowfall from the slopes. This was announced on March 27 on the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.

"Due to the increased risk of avalanches from the slopes of volcanoes and hills, the Kamchatka Regional Avalanche Prevention Center has issued an avalanche danger warning," the report says.

It is specified that the corresponding regime will be in effect from March 28 to March 31 inclusive. The Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that spontaneous snowfall is possible in the region, and recommended to refrain from visiting the slopes.

On March 26, it became known that an avalanche hazard had been introduced in eight districts of the Sakhalin Region. Avalanches are expected in the region on March 27 and 28. It was noted that emergency services are prepared to respond to possible emergencies.
