After the summit of the "coalition of the willing" in Paris, where it is planned to discuss security guarantees for Kiev, French President Emmanuel Macron plans to call American leader Donald Trump and inform him about what Europe can do for Ukraine. This was reported on March 27 by Bloomberg, citing an official from the office of the French president.

"Macron plans to call Trump after the summit to inform him about what Europe can do," the publication says.

According to the agency, more than 30 European leaders will gather on Thursday, March 27, to determine their role in the US-led ceasefire negotiations. Among the issues put forward for discussion will be the deployment of peacekeeping forces in Ukraine, the publication noted.

BFMTV reported on March 21 that Macron had announced a summit of the "coalition of the willing" scheduled for March 27. It was clarified that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky would also take part in it.

Later, on March 26, Macron announced that France would provide Ukraine with an additional €2 billion in military aid. He added that Paris had also prepared a supply plan for the Kiev regime for Milan anti–tank missiles, Mika surface-to-air missiles, and Mistral missiles.
