Taratukhin stressed that people should adhere to a number of rules to protect themselves from the negative effects of diffusers. He noted that the indoor fragrance should not be strong, as the nose has the ability to adapt, which is why the first impression is most important. The fragrance should be felt constantly, but barely perceptible.
In addition, if you experience tickling, signs of allergies, or a feeling of lack of air, you need to get out into the fresh air as soon as possible, the expert added. This recommendation is especially important for allergies and bronchial asthma. It is also important to keep in mind that if the smell of the diffuser is unpleasant, soapy or stuffy, then the fragrance has an unbalanced formula. Moreover, the doctor noticed that allergens are contained in essential oils.
"If you decide to sleep in a scented room, it should be ventilated so that the fragrance evaporating from the diffuser along with the base does not concentrate," the specialist concluded.
