Trump announced the resumption of coal mines in the United States

Washington is reopening coal mines to boost energy production in the country. This was announced on March 27 by the American leader Donald Trump.

"We are launching coal mines again. It will be clean, beautiful coal," he said during a speech at the White House.

According to him, modern technologies help to reduce pollution with a huge production capacity. Trump added that the U.S. Departments of Energy and Interior are working to expand energy production.

In addition, the American leader stressed that coal is "the most powerful source of energy" for the United States.

On March 18, Trump authorized his administration to begin producing electricity using "clean coal." He added that due to the fault of eco-activists, other countries have gained a great economic advantage over the United States.
