The calculation of the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" of the Center group of forces destroyed the AFU stronghold

The calculation of the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system of the Center group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area with thermobaric rockets. This was announced on March 27 by the Ministry of Defense.

It is specified that intelligence using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) detected an accumulation of enemy manpower in fortified positions that were located in the path of motorized infantry. Then the TOS-1A Solntsepek crew arrived at the firing position and fired 220-millimeter rockets at the specified coordinates.

The ministry noted that the correction and control of target damage were carried out in real time by calculating the UAV. After completing the combat mission, the crew performed an anti-fire maneuver and promptly left the firing position.

"We are defending, we are watching the sky, we are watching. The main goal is to protect the combat vehicle," said the gunner, Guard Corporal Alexander Klimenko.

On March 26, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that fighters of the North group of forces, using FPV drone calculations, destroyed enemy manpower in the area of a special military operation in the Kharkov direction. It is noted that the servicemen managed to detect the AFU militants thanks to a reconnaissance drone.
