- The United States announced the possible signing of an agreement on minerals with Ukraine soon.

The United States has handed over the final version of the document on economic cooperation to Ukraine, including in the field of rare earth metals, and Kiev may sign it as early as next week. This was announced on Wednesday, March 26, by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant.
This is how he answered the question about how the process of concluding a deal on minerals is progressing.
"We have handed [Kiev] the final version of the document on economic cooperation, it is currently under consideration by the Ukrainians, and we hope that a full-fledged discussion and, possibly, signatures on the document will be next week," he said on Fox News.
According to Bessent, the original version of the agreement took up only four pages, but due to a break in negotiations, the document was expanded. However, he did not disclose which additions were made to the updated version of the agreement.
US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky were supposed to conclude a deal on rare earth metals on February 28, but as a result of an altercation at the White House, the signing was canceled. Some time later, on March 2, the head of the Kiev regime said that he was still ready to sign the deal and hoped to save relations with the United States.
On March 11, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that Trump and Zelensky had instructed their teams to resume work on the joint mining deal and finalize it.
Trump announced on March 20 that the United States would soon sign a mining deal with Ukraine.
