CSKA Moscow lost to Dinamo Minsk at the start of the KHL playoffs

Dinamo Minsk defeated CSKA Moscow in the opening match of the first round of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) playoffs. The match took place on March 26 and ended with a score of 5:2.

Forwards Sergey Kuznetsov (15th minute), Sam Enes (19th minute), Egor Borikov (25th minute) and Alexander Volkov (48th and 59th minutes) scored for the winners. Defenseman Dmitry Samorukov (2nd minute) and forward Pavel Karnaukhov (3rd minute) scored goals for the losers.

Following the results of the game, Dinamo Minsk became the fourth in the Western Conference standings, while CSKA became the fifth. The clubs met for the first time in the KHL playoffs. The team's next match will be played on March 28 at the Minsk Arena stadium.

On the same day, the Omsk Avangard hockey club defeated Metallurg in the first round of the KHL playoffs. The match ended with a score of 4:1. Forwards Nikolai Prokhorkin (2nd minute) and Konstantin Okulov (5th minute) scored for the hosts, defenders Semyon Chistyakov (35th minute) and Damir Sharipzyanov (57th minute) scored.
