Pictures from the exhibition. 2.0, 0+
The idea of presenting a synthesis of two types of art in one project, creating a holistic impression of the combination of color and sound, visualization and acoustics, is no coincidence. The name of the exhibition is based on Modest Mussorgsky's famous piano cycle "Pictures from the Exhibition", written in 1874 in memory of the artist Victor Hartmann, a close friend of the composer. The impetus for the creation of the famous work was provided by the watercolors, drawings and architectural projects of Hartmann, shown at his exhibition at the Academy of Arts. Mussorgsky reinterpreted the artist's work, creating an author's cycle, the theme of which embodied life itself in its diversity and, more broadly, a picture of the human world.
