Roskomnadzor rejected the link between the failures in the SBP and the actions of the agency.

The information that the problems associated with payment through the Fast Payment System are caused by the actions of Roskomnadzor (RCN) is not true. This was reported to Izvestia on March 26 by the press service of the department.

"A number of media resources disseminate false information published by a foreign agent. It claims that the problems experienced by users on March 26 related to payment through the Fast Payment System were caused by the actions of Roskomnadzor. The statements contain a number of gross errors," Roskomnadzor said.

The RCN noted that the failures in the National Payment Card System (NSPK) were caused by malfunctions in the functioning of the NSPK infrastructure, and they have now been fixed. They also clarified that scheduled inspections could not affect the NSPK and cause disruptions in the operation of banking applications.

"Routine inspections conducted by the Central Medical Center of the Roskomnadzor CCOP exclude the impact on the NSPK," the agency concluded.

Earlier, on March 26, it became known that difficulties with the operation of the fast payment system arose due to a malfunction in the NSPK infrastructure. By the evening of the same day, the problems were fixed.
