The renovation of the pipeline at the water intake in Tula will be completed in 2025.

In Tula, another 1.5 km of pipeline will be replaced at the Obidimo-Upkinsky water intake in 2025. This is reported by TSN24 with reference to the press service of the city administration.

The project to upgrade the main water pipeline at the Obidimo-Upkinsky intake provides for the replacement of 25.1 km of pipes. Three sections with a total length of 23.6 km were replaced last year, and their readiness is estimated at 99.9%.

Work on the last section will take place in 2025. The contract with the contractor is scheduled to be concluded in April, and it will replace 1.5 km of the pipeline.

The total cost of updating the water pipeline is 1.3 billion rubles. According to the head of Tula Ilya Bespalov, the implementation of the project will improve the reliability of the water supply system for 120 thousand residents of the Zarechensk district.

Earlier in March, it was reported that more than 40 municipal solid waste storage sites will be built in Tula in 2025. The initial cost of the work is 4.5 million rubles.
