A project on the arrangement of lighting networks on roads is being implemented in the Kama region

In the Perm Region, they are preparing to implement the Svetly Krai project, aimed at arranging lighting networks on regional roads within the boundaries of settlements. This is reported by the regional government.

"It is necessary to carry out the contract for the new Svetly Krai project as soon as possible and begin its implementation in the territories of the region. The next stage is to put not only roads, but also sidewalks in order," Governor Dmitry Makhonin said at a meeting of the regional government.

The length of regional roads in the Perm Region is about 3.5 thousand km, almost 380 km of them pass through populated areas. According to the <url> news agency, only 172.1 km of such roads have outdoor lighting.

The final goal of the "Bright Edge" is to install lighting on all regional roads within the boundaries of settlements by 2027. The project will be implemented in 131 settlements in 34 municipalities. Outdoor lighting will appear on 207.6 km of roads.
