Traffic on Gorky Street in Murmansk will remain closed until July.

In Murmansk, traffic restrictions on Gorky Street were extended until the end of June. The decision was made in connection with construction works that the contractor did not manage to complete on time, the city administration told the Bi-port news agency.

Traffic on Gorky Street is currently closed to all types of transport across the entire width of the roadway. The restriction will last until June 30, 2025.

"For violation of the deadlines for fulfilling the terms of the municipal contract, the contractor LLC Thermoisolstroy is subject to liability measures in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the terms of the municipal contract," the administration said.

The news agency also writes that the Frunze Street public transport stop has been moved due to the work and is temporarily located in the area of house number 12 on Alexei Generalov Street.
