Sales of used luxury cars have increased sharply in Russia

In February 2025, Russians purchased 176 used Luxury cars. This is 32% more than a year ago and 17% more than in January 2025. This was reported on March 26 by the analytical agency Autostat.

Almost 41% of all used luxury cars purchased in the last winter month were made by the Bentley brand (73 units). About a third of this aftermarket segment is owned by the Rolls-Royce and Maserati brands (34 and 30 units, respectively). Russians also purchased 22 used Lamborghini, 11 Ferrari and 5 Aston Martin cars in February.

The top five most popular cars in the segment for the month included the Bentley Continental GT (34 units), Bentley Bentayga (22 units), Maserati Levante (17 units), Lamborghini Urus (16 units) and Rolls-Royce Cullinan (14 units).

A total of 326 used luxury cars have changed their owners in Russia since the beginning of the year, which is 33% more than in January-February 2024, experts estimate. According to analysts, sales growth in the luxury segment in the secondary car market has been recorded for eight months in a row.

On March 25, it became known that while the market for new electric vehicles in Russia has been falling for eight months in a row, sales of used electric cars have been growing for five months in a row. So, in February, Russians purchased 819 such cars, which is 22% more than a year ago.

On March 21, it was reported that in February 2025, 397.1 thousand used passenger cars were purchased in Russia, which is 5.5% less than a month earlier and 0.6% lower than in February last year. Lada holds the leadership in the secondary market among the brands, 106 thousand such cars of the domestic brand were purchased in the last winter month.
