In Russia, the option of joint management of the Zaporizhia NPP (NPP) with the United States is not being considered. This was announced on March 26 by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

"I think that such a situation is not being considered for a nuclear power plant," TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, on March 25, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia considers it impossible to transfer the Nuclear power plant or control over it to Ukraine or any other country. The ministry clarified that the return of the station to the Russian nuclear industry is a fait accompli that the international community can only recognize.

On the same day, Russia's permanent representative to Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, confirmed that the Russian Federation would not allow the transfer of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant to Ukraine or the establishment of joint control over it with Kiev, the United States or international organizations.
