Russian troops defeated seven brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod border region

Russian troops managed to destroy seven brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod border area. This was announced on March 26 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to conduct a special military operation," the statement said.

In the Belgorod direction, the Sever group struck at the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Krasnopolye, Pogroedy, Prokhody, Miropolskoye and Petrushevka of the Sumy region.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the enemy lost up to 55 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, as well as artillery weapons.

To this end, an attempt was made to invade the Belgorod Region and attack a Russian energy facility in the Krasnodar Territory.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian military personnel, using Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), struck the launch site of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones in the Zaporizhia region. An explosion was recorded after impact. As a result, the position caught fire.
