Sunflower planting started in the fields of Crimea

Agrarians in Crimea have started planting sunflowers. Currently, 320 hectares of agricultural crops have been planted.

According to the SevastopolMedia news agency, a total of 40.6 thousand hectares of fields will be sown with sunflower. Currently, 0.79% of the plan has been completed. Compared to 2024, the planting area will decrease by 1.17%.

In 2024, sunflower was planted on an area of 47.7 thousand hectares. 36.1 thousand tons of seeds were harvested with a yield of 8 quintals per hectare.

In 2025, state support for the Russian agro-industrial complex will exceed 500 billion rubles. This was stated by the head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
