The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Stavropol Territory has opened a criminal case into the poisoning of children from Voronezh who came to a football tournament. This was announced on March 26 by the press service of the Investigative Committee for the region.

"A criminal case has been opened in the Stavropol Interdistrict investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Stavropol Territory on the grounds of a crime under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet security requirements")," the agency's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the investigator conducted an inspection of the scene, appointed a complex of examinations.

The course of the investigation is under the control of the leadership of the investigative department.

It became known about the hospitalization of teenagers in the Stavropol Infectious Diseases hospital earlier that day. They arrived at a children's football tournament in Stavropol, dedicated to the memory of Vladislav Dukhin. According to the Ministry of Health, the children's condition is assessed as moderate. They were hospitalized for further treatment and examination.
