The amount of financial and military assistance that Norway will provide to Ukraine in 2025 will amount to $8 billion. This was announced on March 26 by the head of the Norwegian Ministry of Labor Tonje Brenna.

"This year we are enormously increasing our contribution to helping Ukraine. Thus, the total amount of our support in 2025 will amount to almost $8 billion," Brenna said at a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga and Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide in Kyiv.

During her speech, she added that in three years, Norwegian municipalities have accepted more than 90 thousand refugees from Ukraine.

Earlier, on March 19, it became known that the Swedish government had approved a three-year plan for military assistance to Kiev. It is planned to spend $7.5 billion for these purposes by 2026.
