Deputy Mayor of Moscow Sergunina spoke about the grant for the creation of international film projects

The Moscow government has established a grant for the production of international films in the capital. It can be obtained by film crews consisting of Moscow and foreign film companies, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Industry representatives will have the opportunity to reimburse up to 30% of the cost of filming. The maximum amount of payments for one project will be 50 million rubles. The new support measure will expand the capabilities of the Moscow Film Cluster and make our city even more attractive to international market players," Sergunina said.

The grant applies to films whose creation contracts were concluded no earlier than 12 months before the application date. Acceptance of documents will open on April 1 on the Moskino film platform. The terms of support will also be posted there. The total amount of the grant will depend on the confirmed expenses.

The Moscow Film Cluster is a multifunctional ecosystem that combines several on-site venues and an industry-specific digital platform.
