Ten people suffered from tick bites in Transbaikalia

Since the beginning of spring, ten people have suffered from tick bites in the Trans-Baikal Territory. This is reported by ChitaMedia news agency with reference to information from Rospotrebnadzor.

Four bites have been registered in Chita. Another person was injured in Akshinsky, Aginsky, Kyrinsky, Khiloksky, Chita and Karymsky districts.

Five pests were sent to the laboratory for analysis for encephalitis, borreliosis and other diseases that ticks can carry.

Earlier this week, the treatment of parks against ticks started in Lipetsk. Dog owners were advised to refrain from walking their pets for several days in the territories where the drug was sprayed.
