The SVR announced Europe's attempts to rewrite the history of the twentieth century

The European Union (EU) countries are trying to rewrite the history of the twentieth century so that the younger generation believes that Russia was not the victor of Nazism in World War II. This was announced on March 26 by Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).
The Directorate General's "manuals" provide for hammering into the "minds and hearts" of Europeans the idea that Russia is "a second—rate power that does not have the right to dictate its terms to Europe." In accordance with this installation, it is supposed to rewrite the history of the 20th century," he is quoted as saying on the SVR website.
Naryshkin noted that the EU countries had adopted the propaganda techniques of the Third Reich to intimidate the European layman with the alleged Russian "threat." To do this, according to the director of the SVR, it is planned to "manually manage" the leading media of the countries of the association in order to ensure "the correct presentation of the Russian issue."
According to the head of the department, at a recent briefing in Brussels, the European media were instructed to actively prepare society for the alleged end of the "fat years" and the need to "tighten their belts."
Earlier, on March 17, the SVR reported that the authorities of the leading Western countries were forced to take harsh measures to conceal from citizens the widespread spread of Nazi ideology in Ukraine. According to the agency, the German authorities have instructed the German media to exclude the appearance of evidence of the use of gestures and symbols associated with Nazi Germany by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
