With the arrival of spring, many car owners encounter unexpected breakdowns that went unnoticed in winter. Vadim Strelbitsky, director of the Avilon Kia Mechanical Repair department, told about this on March 26, listing the malfunctions that occur.

The expert called the consequences of corrosion one of the main problems — reagents and salt contribute to the accelerated formation of rust. The door sills, shock absorber mounts, and exhaust system are the most affected.

"Another "surprise" may be waiting in the suspension. Worn—out ball bearings, clattering shock absorbers and backlash steering tips - payback for the winter pits. Therefore, with the onset of heat, it is necessary to check the condition of the anthers, silent blocks and joints," the Rossiyskaya Gazeta quotes Strelbitsky.

With the arrival of spring, there may be electrical problems caused by temperature fluctuations, rotten mats and puddles in the trunk (the result of clogged drainage channels) and tire problems, which often become visible only after washing, the specialist said.
