Russians named the key factors when choosing resort apartments

More than half of Russians named the beautiful view from the windows as the most important characteristic when choosing resort apartments, according to a study by Mantera Residence, which was reviewed by Izvestia on March 28.
According to the study, 48% of respondents believe that such apartments should be accompanied by a personal assistant and services that provide the most comfortable conditions for recreation and living.
The study participants were asked about the criteria for choosing resort apartments for a comfortable life. Naturally, the most popular answers were "view from the window to the sea or mountains", "location on the first coastline" — 66% and 56%, respectively. Interest in view apartments on the first coastline is growing: in January 2025, demand for them turned out to be 20% higher compared to the same month a year ago.
48% of respondents would like to have access to high-quality services such as babysitters, personal assistant, valet parking and restaurant service. Requests for comfort manager services in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory have increased by 10% since March 2023 and remain stable at this level, regardless of the season.
Another 45% and 40% of respondents choose complex projects with a landscaped park and a swimming pool. The demand for swimming pools in resorts is growing in the colder season — the figures in October 2024 were 40% higher than the data for July of the same year.
The large area of the apartments (26%) and the use of natural materials in the decoration (29%) also remain in demand among the audience.
During the survey, 47% of respondents named the presence of a private terrace as an important factor in buying resort service apartments, and 31% — a private swimming pool.
"High-quality infrastructure and high level of service are key factors in choosing a resort property today. If buyers have the opportunity to test the service before purchasing, this significantly increases the likelihood of purchase, because it allows potential owners to assess the level of comfort, available amenities and quality of service on site," concluded Irina Ignatieva, Commercial Director of the Mantera Residence Group.
Earlier, on February 14, the service's analysts YouTravel.me Izvestia was informed that Russians had seen a significant increase in interest in author tours abroad. According to experts, this trend may be related to a number of factors, including the depreciation of the dollar, which makes foreign tourism more accessible to consumers.
